Blender UV Flow 1.0.2 is a game-changing add-on for UV unwrapping, built to bring speed, precision, and ease to Blender’s UV editing workflow. Whether you're a 3D artist, game developer, or texture painter, UV Flow transforms what used to be a tedious task into a highly efficient and even enjoyable experience.

At the heart of UV Flow is the Cut UV Tool, seamlessly integrated into Blender’s toolbar. This intuitive tool lets you edit UV seams effortlessly: single-click to create seams, double-click to mark loops, click and drag to draw seams, and hold Alt to clear them. You can also double-click on faces to select UV islands instantly—bringing a whole new level of interactivity to UV editing.

UV Flow’s Auto Unwrap feature redefines live unwrapping. Unlike Blender’s native system, it unwraps only the UVs impacted by your new seams, preserving your previous UV work without resets or unintended changes.

The Seam Layers system enhances multi-UV map workflows by storing seam data per UV map. This makes it easy to handle multiple unwraps on a single mesh without losing control or consistency.

With Attribute-Based Seams, UV Flow automates seam placement using mesh attributes like angle, bevel weight, crease, sharpness, or freestyle lines. This is especially useful for hard surface modeling, where quick, clean unwrapping is essential.

UV Flow also includes a Customizable Overlay System. Seam colors, line thickness, and glow effects can be tailored to your preference, making it easier to visualize and manage your seam layout. It even includes a one-click UV checker texture display for fast visual inspection.

Another standout feature is Scale Compensation. UV Flow allows unwrapping of meshes even if their scale hasn’t been applied—automatically stretching UVs to match the actual dimensions, saving you extra steps in the workflow.

For those working in texture applications like Substance Painter or Mari, the Material-Based Workflow feature packs each material into its own UV space, streamlining external texturing workflows and maintaining UV organization.
